Police continue to detain the wife and another relative of murdered fuel dealer, Ramzan Ally, as they continue to probe who might be responsible for his death.Ramzan AllyThe two family members were detained on Sunday, immediately after Ally’s body was found in the trunk of a rented car on the Coldingen Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara.Kaieteur News understands that although detectives have so far been unable to unearth any incriminating evidence against the two family members, they are focusing their probe on various information that they have so far received.In the case of the dead man’s wife, investigators are trying to ascertain whether his death has any links to threats he received.According to a source, the other family member in custody had tampered with the car, rendering any attempt to lift incriminating fingerprints futile.The relative had discovered the locked car during a search for Ally after he was reported missing.Upon seeing blood dripping from the trunk, he smashed one of the windows in order to investigate the source of the blood.It was then the shocking discovery of Ally’s body was made. A post mortem examination will be performed tomorrow, although investigators strongly believe that Ally was bludgeoned to death.
