The program will educate ways to overcome adversity by using lifestyle skills and schooling as well as talks on substance abuse abuse.
"A Safe Place is not just to get homeless or runaway teens from broken homes; it is usually a place for any at risk teenagers or persons up to get older 21," Rikansrud said.
The center provides clean clothing along with a place to take a shower, wash outfits, Nike Shoes Perth watch TV or use a laptop.

"I just appreciate doing this. I love kids,Inches Rikansrud said.
And for those who appreciate helping youth, Pastor Willie Simmons mentioned he thanks God for the kids.
"Whenever you're helping a child, that you are doing something special. When you invest in a kid, you invest for a lifetime, (and) the benefits come back for a lifetime,Inches Simmons said.
A child who relates to "A Safe Place" stands to Cheap Nike Roshe Run benefit, and Community Resource Outreach Manager Yvette Williams stimulates it for that reason.
"We do applications in the schools and we let kids know that Safe Place exist. Kids know that they can get anywhere, wherever they find our yellow and black sign, and obtain help. If they are afraid, if there are drugs and alcohol being abused in your house, anything, we can help them start."
Williams, who is a member of the country's Safe Place Board alongside Etowah Region Sheriff Todd Entrekin, said locations like A Safe Place are priceless when it comes to helping today's children's.
"You would like to think things are convalescing, but they're really not," Williams mentioned.
"It's vital to have programs similar to this to serve our youth nowadays."
A Safe Place isn't a replacement for other youth support Nike Air Force 1 High Australia agencies such as Big Inlaws Big Sisters or Kids Girls Clubs, but rather it's another aspect of it, Rikansrud reported.
"We enhance their service and significant other with all of them."
Lorie Conrad, some sort of volunteer with the Big Bros Big Sisters organization, explained A Safe Place is a wonderful place for kids who are not supervised.
Though mentors would like to, she explained, they just can't be with the young children all day.
"This is such a powerful source of families and will be a tremendous advantage to the community," Conrad said.
