It's no secret this Toyota will be expanding the Prius model line to include a 5 door minivan (the Prius V) as well as, eventually, a compact hatchback based on the Prius Do shown at this year's Nike Cortez Floral Detroit Automotive Show. The A Baseball bat (for Advanced Breakthrough Aero Pickup) was shown at the Two thousand and seven Detroit Auto Show, and showcased a lightweight unibody construction and hybrid Black Nike Cortez power train. It was quite a lot smaller than the current Toyota Tacoma, hence the A BAT would restart a long dormant segment from the truck world: the subcompactpickup vehicle.
