They were both unrepresented and pleaded not guilty to the charge.According to Manroop, they were on their way home, walking,Jordy Nelson Packers Jersey UK, when Looknauth along with a ‘Rasta’ man rode up on a bike with a bread knife and told them that they had robbed Looknauth.However, Looknauth claimed that he was walking on Carmichael Street when the two youths approached him and told him to hand over all he had. He said that when he declined to do so, one of the men pulled out a piece of wood and dealt him a blow to the head. He added that the duo continued to beat him and after taking what they requested, ran south along Carmichael Street and turned into Church Street.Looknauth related that he immediately sought the assistance of a friend in Kingston to accompany him in a search for his assailants. He said that they saw the suspects walking on Camp Street and attempted to approach them but the youths upon seeing them ran. He added that a group of MMC security guards saw what happened and reacted quickly, apprehending the two suspects and handing them over to the police.The Acting Chief Magistrate after listening to both parties remanded the accused. They are expected to return to court on January 21. |
