Hampden man target shooting at golf course hits house
HAMPDEN, Maine A family living on Western Avenue arrived home Tuesday afternoon to find their house had been hit by a bullet and they could hear gunshots coming from somewhere nearby, Police Chief Joe Rogers said. 911 call and was able to trace the path of the bullet to the Hampden County Club on nearby Thomas Road, where he found a man target shooting.
