Mixtapes Frontman Finds Catharsis with New By yourself Album
Cincinnati Pop Rock quartet Mixtapes made about four years ago and immediately hit the road with a relentless dedication. The band's working hard paid off and it has experienced great success, building a dedicated fan base across the country with great live shows in addition to hook drenched, nationally launched albums and singles.
Anyone who has seen Mixtapes live is aware, the band's shows tend to be adrenalized, sweaty fun and their songs, while growing more mature and various with each release, is pure fist pumping, singalong joyfulness.
Frontman Ryan Rockwell has been living the dream. But somewhere along the way, his existence became more like a problem. Rockwell released the Younger generation Culture album late recently as a "pay what you want" (yes, despite the fact that want to pay nothing) get a hold of.
"This is an album for people encountering things they don't like to talk about or know how to express,Inch Rockwell says. "We did it all yourself and paid for it all our-self. First and foremost, we want you to hear it which is why it's free. If you value it enough, we'd greatly appreciate a donation to recoup costs and eventually put it from vinyl.
