| During yesterday’s session at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), there were several supply and delivery contracts. One of these was a multi-million-dollar contract for the supply and delivery of contraceptives. The project was under the Ministry of Public Health.In addition, there were bids for the supply of medical, pharmaceuticals and laboratory supplies.The final contract under the Ministry of Public Health was for the supply of medical equipment.Under Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI), there were expressions of interest for consultancy services for its Human Resources Management Information System.Meanwhile, under the Ministry of Education’s Department of Culture, Youth and Sport,Manchester City Store UK, there were also bidders for the procurement of a 100KVA generator.Under the Protected Areas Commission, there were bids for the procurement of a boat and outboard motor.Also within the ambit of the commission, there were bids for the procurement of office and communication equipment.There were also bids for the procurement of a hydraulic mini excavator, under the National Parks Commission. Four companies had their bids read.Under the Ministry of Indigenous People’s Affairs, there was a contract for the procurement of uniform-related materials and readymade uniforms. Bidders also submitted samples of the uniforms.And finally, there was a contract for the supply of outboard engines, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and reconditioned mini buses for the indigenous communities. Prices varied according to the three lots that were bid for. |
