| Adina Capitus, of Lot 88 David Rose Street, Bagotville, West Bank Demerara has yet another reason to give thanks and praise to the Almighty. She celebrated her 105th birth anniversary yesterday at her humble place of abode with her loved ones.Born on April 20, 1906, at Agricola Village, East Bank Demerara, Adina spent her days working in the back dams and the Diamond sugar estate,China Jerseys Cheap, where she would usually fetch water to supply the cane cutters on a regular basis.The 105-year-old woman flocked by her children, grand children, great-grand children and great-great grand children at her Bagotville home, WBD.She later married and gave birth to a number of children, only three of whom are still alive, to date.
